- ARROW KEY MOVEMENT COMMANDS
-
- You need to know only a few commands to move through or
- "navigate" around this hypertext network. The most
- important commands are four, described below:
-
- (1) DOWN arrow key - Highlights next jump
-
- (2) UP arrow key - Highlights previous jump
-
- Use the UP/DN arrow keys (on your keyboard) to
- automatically highlight ASCII files which are named in
- between brackets on the screen. For example, the following
- refers to a file called "start.txt": <start.txt>
-
- Some links are made to specific lines and screens in a
- file. Hence, you might encounter angle-bracketed labels
- that look like this: <file04C 2 9> This link refers to
- screen 2 and line 9 in "file04C," which would be
- highlighted after you executed a link.
-
- Use [Pg Dn] key from numerical keypad to move to
- the next screen below:
-
-
- (3) RIGHT arrow arrow key - invokes or executes a
- hypertext jump
-
- (4) LEFT arrow key - goes to previous screen.
-
- Use the RIGHT arrow to invoke or execute the
- highlighted hypertext jumps to expand the displayed
- details.
-
- Use the LEFT arrow to return to previously selected
- jumps, which also collapses details.
